Booked a Studio Feature!

Yay! Just in time for my birthday, I booked a feature studio film called “The Perfect Match” that will be directed by Bille Woodruff (Honey, Beauty Shop) and being produced by Queen Latifah. Shooting begins in July!

In This Life

1236520_646663214857_1478585569_nHow amazing is it to wake up and find out you’ve booked the LEAD in a film co-starring an incredible actor with whom you’ve just wrapped a project? After a fabulous reading for The Gun Show, I awoke to find I was going to begin shooting that same week with Elijah Allan-Blitz, who played the every skittish Colt 45. This fascinating script has us jumping from decade to decade as two soul-mates whose lives are continually cut short just as they meet. We’re halfway through shooting In This Life, but I’ll be sure to add pictures to the gallery as soon and I get them. πŸ™‚

Booking Bukowski’s!

bukowskis-sign-450After one of the most fun callback’s I’ve ever had (in a real bar, no less!) I’ve been offered the lead role of Rebecca in the indie film Bukowki’s: “Four self-absorbed, urban youths attempt to make meaningful social connections, but instead find themselves alone together once engaged in a darwnian culture war.” I cannot wait to start shooting this!!

Number 2: The Film

Jillian Easton - Number 2From girl next-door to prostitute, I’ve played a variety of characters. Nothing comes close to the role of Katie in the psychological thriller Number 2. Written & directed by up & comer Jarrod Shusterman, produced by Niko Bono (grandson of the legendary Sonny Bono) the film is expected to premiere at Sundance 2014.
