Let the Good Times RollI’ll be singing THIS WEDNESDAY in the monthly cabaret Mostly Musicals at Fais Do Do! The theme this month is LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL, featuring songs about having fun and being the life of the party. I’ll be singing a little diddy by Jimmy Buffet (who has a better time than him?) so be sure to catch me and many other fine singers this week! $10 Presale tickets available here!

Stephen_SchwartzWhat a fantastic way to start the new year! City of Light was one of THREE new musicals accepted into the Dreamworks/Ascap Musical Theatre Workshop from hundreds submitted from across the world.    Steven Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin, etc) will once again helm the feedback panel along with two other Broadway writers and producers. I’ve been asked to reprise my lead role as Juliette, which basically means I get to curse, in French, in front of Steven Schwartz. Dreams really do come true!

We Put it Together

BackstagePITAlthough a sprained ankle slowed me down for a month, Putting It Together was an amazing success! With packed houses and great reviews, I couldn’t have asked for a better cast or director (Cate Capelin), and no one could ask for better material (Sondheim!). I’ve loved every moment of this gorgeous, bittersweet, funny show.

Putting It TogetherCity of Light has only 3 more performances, but I’ve already begun rehearsals for my next show! I love working on original musicals, but there’s nothing like the classics. Putting It Together is a review musical of 5 archetypal characters featuring some of Sondheim’s most challenging songs including Ladies Who Lunch, More, and Buddy’s Blues. I’ll be appearing as Woman # 2 (The Younger Woman) for one weekend only in December. Tickets available here.

City of LightCity of Light is FINALLY opening after a SOLD OUT preview last night! We only run for three weekends, so don’t forget to reserve your DONATION BASED (read: mostly free) TICKETS before they’re gone!
